As mean as they come; but not without a sweet side.
I did a couple of these sinister faces when I was watching Any Questions one night. One of the many Brexit-frenzied audiences which inspired these grumpy old gits. But the title is from the unreasonably gifted Tom Waits, whose last line from 9th and Hennepin (his tale of a teenage pimp war) goes: “I’ve seen it all through the yellow windows of the evening train.”
How can he be so good?
