Some of these prints were commissioned by P+O Cruises for images to dress a staircase for Ventura, the then flagship launched in 2007. The theme was colour, and then more colour. I thought of them as being in some way, successors of the 30s travel posters that urged us all to get the train to the coast, showing us hat photography was no match for ingenious graphic design.
